New database server

Mon 22 december: We switched back to our old database server with plain old Raptor harddrives, due to a faulty SSD. As a result performance is affected.
We will replace the faulty SSD and put the new db server back to service, once we have received a replacement drive from the manufacturer.

SSL

As an experiment, we now support SSL encryption.
However since Binsearch displays banner ads from external sites, you might receive "this page contains insecure items" warning messages.

July 12th, 2008: In order to save bandwidth, you are now automatically redirected to our SSL site, if you use a firewall, proxy server or ISP that does not handle gzip compression properly.

NFO search is back!

NFO search is back. Go to advanced search to use it.
The index is updated once an hour, and only the most popular groups are supported.
